Brief About Africa Ajai Foundation

Africa Ajai Foundation (AAF) is a place where children without parents are cared for and housed. AAF is a non-profit organization that brings life-changing care to orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa. AAF targets to empower the youth to learn skills that will discourage them from migrating to Europe or western countries in search for better life.

The overall objective of this foundation is to wage war against child labor, motivate the school dropout, child labor and neglected girl children to get back to the formal school by giving psychologically and physically training, giving importance on nutritive status of children, provide cultural and sports development, more focus on rack pickers, street children for bring them to main stream of the education, provide good education, food and scholastic materials, vocational training, orientation and skill developments of beneficiaries, motivate the parents and community to change their attitude about ignorance of importance of children education, provide more opportunity for children to learn about arts, science and social etc, to develop changes in policymaking level by lobby and advocacy, and active involvement in school betterment committees.

However, the major long-term goal of this project is to help disadvantaged children get an opportunity to study for self-sustenance and NOT dependents on the community they live in.

Geared towards changing the community through care, respect and love, need for making the orphaned child come out of hopelessness by creating a conducive environment towards meaningful and progressive life.

Our Specific objectives

To provide domestic support to the orphaned children
To provide education to the orphans and the vulnerable kids ranging from early childhood development, primary school, Secondary school and Technical Skilling center
To train the youth with skills to empower their sustainable earnings
To train and teach entrepreneur skills to the widows and provide technical support to the community on income generating activities.
To reduce the numbers of children engaged in the worst form of child labor.

Our Major activities

To construct the Africa Ajai Foundation Education Center comprising of (Action Nur & Primary School, Action High School and Action Technical Institute)
To hire teachers for taking classes for the children, and the youth who will learn skills.
To set up income generating projects through provision of small interest free capital and trainings to household’s families (Widows) we work with. This will reduce high dependency on the organization by the project beneficiaries. Some of the income generating projects will be poultry keeping, kitchen gardening, computer training, tailoring, dress making etc.
Other activities shall include pay school fees, uniforms and other scholastic materials.
To organize meetings with the guardians, committees and Local leaders,
build a Primary school of seven class roomed in the village, to support orphans /vulnerable children
