Introduction

Welcome to Buikwe Foster Home, a safe haven for vulnerable children in Uganda. Under the umbrella of Africa Ajai Foundation, we provide love, care, and support to orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged children. Our mission is to empower these young minds to grow into confident, self-sufficient, and responsible individuals.

About Us

Angel Foster Home is located in Buikwe District, Uganda, and is led by our dedicated Director, Angel. Our home provides a nurturing environment for up to [number] children, aged [age range]. We have up to 30 children and aged 14 to 20 years

Success Stories

Sarah, now a cheerful 10-year-old, came to Buikwe Foster Home at the age of 5. She had experienced hardship early in life, with no stable family support. At Buikwe, Sarah found a caring environment where she could focus on her studies and regain her health. She was provided with nutritious meals, a safe place to live, and a team of compassionate mentors who believed in her potential. Today, Sarah excels academically and dreams of becoming a teacher to inspire other children just like her. Buikwe Foster Home has been her stepping stone toward a brighter future.

Joshua, 12, faced a challenging childhood without reliable caregivers. When he arrived at Buikwe Foster Home, he struggled with trust and self-esteem. Through consistent support, counseling, and the love of his foster family, Joshua’s transformation began. He developed close friendships with other children, took up painting as a hobby, and has since thrived academically. Now, Joshua is one of the most encouraging voices at the foster home, helping new children feel welcome. His future looks promising, and he aspires to become a social worker, helping others in need.

Amina, a bright and resilient 8-year-old, joined Buikwe Foster Home after losing her parents. The loss left her withdrawn and anxious, but with time, the team at Buikwe fostered her growth and emotional healing. Through group activities, art therapy, and a steady support system, Amina regained her confidence. Now, she’s a star student who loves math and dreams of becoming an engineer. Buikwe has become her sanctuary, where she’s developed her talents and found a loving community.

John and James were only 7 when they were brought to Buikwe Foster Home, malnourished and struggling emotionally. With the foster home’s intervention, the twins received regular meals, medical attention, and a nurturing environment that allowed them to rediscover their childhood. They quickly bonded with the caregivers and developed a love for football, playing with the other children. Now, they dream of becoming professional players, and they are thriving in school as well. Buikwe Foster Home has given them a second chance at life.
